The project

Built in 1902, the Village Market building is the oldest commercial building in downtown Lake Bluff.

In the fall of 2005, Lake Effect acquired the property and completely renovated and restored the building to its original historic character. The building reopened in the summer of 2006.

Today, the ground floor features local retail favorites like Hansa Coffee Roasters and Toned Yoga while the second floor provides dedicated local office spaces.
